Pre-apprenticeship Programme

In November 2017, Build Up partnered with architecture practice HTA Design, Haringey Play Association and regeneration consultants Newman Francis to coordinate a Pre-Apprenticeship Programme. Over 12 sessions, eight young people were supported by professionals from across the construction industry to lead their own project, consisting of a new sandpit and water play area for younger visitors to the playground.  

At the time of writing, all young people who completed the project were employed in the built environment industry or adjacent trades.
