In 2022, young people from Grove Adventure Playground expressed a desire for a place where they could relax and spend time together. One participant described the idea as a “living room in the sky.”

Build Up worked with them over the summer holidays to create a treehouse, making use of both an existing playground structure and a mature tree on site. The group designed a sheltered space where they could sit, talk, and hang out with friends, bringing their vision of a calm, elevated retreat to life.
