In autumn 2023 Build Up worked with Glamis Adventure Playground around their weekly Fire Club, where young people are facilitated to learn bushcraft. The primary aim of the project was to refresh their fire pit area and create a brighter learning space.

The group already had some ideas about the existing space, including the fire pit and a way to engage with a learning setting,  and Build Up expanded on those ideas with young people to come up with designs for a series of seats, a table and a new training space.

The designs were built with young people and volunteers in October 2023, and the space is now very well used as the new bushcraft area.
