In 2022 Build Up worked with Youth Allowed Club (YAC), a Saturday club for young people with disabilities, to build outdoor furniture and tables at Bexley Community Centre. 

The team first created a design for the under-used garden area of the centre, then learned carpentry skills to build the first phase of their plan. Since construction was completed, two group members have used their skills to gain roles in construction and maintenance and the new furniture has enabled many people to spend time in the garden area.
