Building on previous work Build Up has done at Homerton Adventure Playground, young people devised a new ‘balance beam’. 

Bridging a large ditch in a wooded area of site, the beam completes a circular route though the playground with a network of platforms and a slanted climbing wall. The team of staff and young people built the structure over three weeks, designing and improvising play features on site.
